Jalen moved to Los Angeles just after turning 19, with $300 in his pocket, a camera and laptop, and a word from God.

Creative expression has always been both a gifting and a passion for Jalen, who is a former hip hop dance instructor, traveling and teaching at multiple studios and choreographing for many dance teams.

Jalen began to take on freelance videography work in LA, including dance videos, music videos, brand commercials, and comedy sketches. He soon connected with a community of Vine and Instagram comedians to create consistent social media content.

After training with a well-known editorial photographer, Jalen’s photos have landed in a number of magazines, including USWeekly, Marie Claire, Esquire Singapore, Southbay, Daman Indonesia, Vanity Teen, and more.

Jalen currently works with numerous actors, musicians and social media influencers on various projects and editorial work, and he also serves in his church by filming services, events, and live worship music.

Working personally with artists, Jalen is helping to lead and guide them towards their creative goals, using the resources and talents he has gained in his personal journey. Jalen wants to give people the opportunity to have good quality content to support who they are striving to be.
